Chewings Fescue
Chewings Fescue is a type of fine fescue that grows upright and has a high shade tolerance. This fescue is best grown in the cooler climates of the northern United States and Canada. It is a good seed variety to use for lawns because it establishes itself quicker than other types and it requires less mowing than other varieties and can be mowed down to 1 1/2 inches.
